It is my joy to welcome you to the eighth month of the year. What a privilege it is to be alive and to witness another month by God's grace. His faithfulness has sustained us, and His mercy has brought us this far.
My Apology
Before we reflect on what God has placed on my heart for this month, I would like to sincerely apologise for not sending a newsletter in July. I was unexpectedly locked out of my mailing account, and it took some time to regain access. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.
As I prayed concerning this month, I became convinced that August is a month of Supernatural Release.
Our anchor scripture is:
Matthew 16:19 (NIV)
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
This verse reminds us that God has entrusted His children with spiritual authority. Through Christ, we have been given the keys to walk in freedom, release, and victory. This is not only a season where God is releasing resources, opportunities, favour, wisdom, and divine connections—it is also a season for you to exercise your God-given authority by aligning your life with His will.
I believe God is working on one of the greatest battlefields of our lives—the mind. He desires to renew your thinking and partner with you as He releases fresh, God-inspired ideas and revelations that will not only transform your life but also influence your generation.
To respond to what God is doing this month, here are five ways to maximise this season of supernatural release:
1. Release every mindset that has held you back.
Let go of every limiting belief, fear, and ideology that has kept you stagnant. God cannot pour new wine into an old wineskin.
2. Be willing to learn, unlearn, and relearn.
Maintain a teachable heart. Be prepared to let go of ideas that no longer align with God's truth and embrace the wisdom He is revealing. A renewed mind is positioned to steward new opportunities.
3. Be a faithful steward of what God places in your hands.
Whether it is knowledge, finances, influence, opportunities, or relationships, use them wisely. Let the Parable of the Talents remind you that God blesses those who faithfully invest what He has entrusted to them.
4. Do not be afraid of the responsibility that comes with the release.
The God who calls you is the same God who equips you. Wherever He provides resources, He also provides the grace, wisdom, and strength to use them excellently.
5. Invest in acquiring knowledge.
As God opens your eyes to new ideas and fresh perspectives, invest in your growth. Knowledge transforms resources into lasting impact. The more prepared you are, the greater your capacity to maximise what God entrusts to you.
Beloved, I believe God wants to do more than change your circumstances this month—He wants to transform your mind.
He wants to release you from every mindset that has kept you in bondage and replace it with His truth, wisdom, and vision. As He places the keys in your hands, choose to unlock every door He has prepared for you and release everything He has deposited within you.
Spend quality time with Him each day. Pray, study His Word, and make room for quiet reflection. As you do, I believe you will witness remarkable transformation throughout this month.
I cannot wait to see the person you are becoming when we meet again in September.
