This month, I want to write especially to those who may be feeling weary, disheartened, or burdened by painful experiences. Perhaps you have lost someone or something dear to you, or you’ve walked through situations that left your heart broken. If that is you, this letter is for you.
I know your pain may feel overwhelming, and uncertainty about the future may weigh heavily on your mind. But please know this: you are deeply loved. You are not alone. God is with you, and He is ready to embrace you with His comfort.
The Word of God reminds us:
2 Corinthians 1:3–4 (AMP)
“Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort,
who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God
|
This scripture assures us that God is the Father of compassion. He never abandons His children in their pain. Instead, He draws near, comforts us, and strengthens us so that we in turn can comfort others.
Beloved, no matter the grief, loss, or despair you’ve faced this year, you can rise above it by allowing the Holy Spirit—the Comforter—to minister to your heart. If you open yourself to Him, He will bring peace, soothe your pain, and fill you with strength. And as He comforts you, you will not only heal—you will also become a channel of comfort to others.
So as you step into September, hold on to this truth: God’s comfort is greater than your pain, and His presence will carry you through.
Yours in His Presence
