As I prayed concerning this month, I became convinced that June is a month of deliverance. I believe God is moving powerfully to set His children free from every form of captivity. Whether the bondage has existed for years or is a recent struggle, our God remains the Deliverer.
Our scriptural focus for this month is:
Exodus 13:15 (NIV)
"When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the Lord killed the firstborn of both people and animals in Egypt. This is why I sacrifice to the Lord the first male offspring of every womb and redeem each of my firstborn sons."
This verse reminds us of God's mighty power to deliver His people from oppression and bring them into freedom. It also teaches us the importance of remembering and honouring God for His acts of deliverance.
As you walk through this month, keep these truths close to your heart:
1. Never stop giving God glory.
Let praise become your daily habit. Continually thank God for His goodness, faithfulness, and mercy. A grateful heart attracts God's presence.
2. Trust in God's ability to fulfil His promises.
Do not allow circumstances, opinions, or fears to weaken your faith. God is faithful, and what He has spoken concerning you will surely come to pass.
3. Be willing to give God your very best.
Do not reserve your best efforts, time, worship, or devotion. Honour God wholeheartedly and serve Him with excellence.
4. Never forget what God has done for you.
Keep a record of His faithfulness. Let His past victories become reminders that He is still able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all you can ask or imagine.
5. Do not take God's glory.
Avoid relying solely on human wisdom or strength to secure your freedom and breakthrough. Seek God's guidance and allow Him to direct your steps.
Beloved, as you journey through June, remain confident in God's power to deliver. Every stubborn enemy, every limitation, and every form of captivity must bow before the authority of God.
Your Deliverer is at work.
May this month bring freedom, restoration, and undeniable testimonies.
Have a blessed June.
Yours in Christ,
