Hello Beloved,
It’s the 10th month of the year!
The year we started is almost coming to an end in the twinkling of an eye. It is nothing short of God’s faithfulness that we are still standing today. We cannot take the glory for any achievement, progress, or growth; God has been our help every step of the way.
As we enter October, I want to encourage you with this assurance: you will experience speedy favour. God is speaking to us through the account of the Israelites in Exodus 12:35–36.
Exodus 12:35–36 (KJV)
35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
36 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.
The Israelites were leaving Egypt after years of bondage, and God gave them favour to receive what they needed for their journey. What they could not have achieved by their own strength, God made possible through His favour.
As you walk through October, keep these key points in mind:
1. You are leaving Egypt.
In this new month, believe God for freedom from anything that represents bondage, limitation, or stagnation in your life. You are moving forward.
2. Do not be afraid to ask for what you need.
The Israelites asked the Egyptians for resources, and God gave them favour. Do not be afraid to ask, seek, knock, or reach out to the people and opportunities God places around you.
3. Keep your eyes open for opportunities.
Favour does not always arrive in the form you expect. Pay attention, recognise opportunities, and do not be afraid to step into them when they come.
4. Remember that God is your Backer.
Your confidence should not come from having everything figured out. Your confidence comes from knowing that God is with you and is able to provide what you need for the journey ahead.
5. Make gratitude a lifestyle.
Never stop praising God. Before you celebrate the next testimony, remember the faithfulness that brought you this far. Gratitude keeps your heart focused on the One who deserves the glory.
Beloved, be assured that speedy favour is available to you this month.
Don't give up now.
You have come too far to stop. There is still more ahead, and God is able to provide everything you need for the next level.
Walk into October with confidence, expectation, and gratitude.
Your Egypt is not your final destination.
